Plagiarism Screening Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pengolahan Pangan will be screened for plagiarism before the review process begins. The journal uses plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) to ensure the originality of the submitted manuscripts.

Manuscripts containing a similarity index of more than 20% (excluding references) will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected depending on the level and nature of the similarity.

Authors are strongly advised to check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission and ensure that all cited materials are properly acknowledged.

The editorial team reserves the right to recheck manuscripts at any stage of the publication process if plagiarism is suspected.

By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Pengolahan Pangan, authors agree to the plagiarism screening policy and acknowledge that any detected misconduct may result in rejection or retraction of the article after publication.
